He had multiple steals off of inbounds plays. He followed every shot, even when he was following alone. He dove for loose balls and made saves on on long rebounds.

Luca Foster | 6’5” 2026 Link Academy (Radnor PA)

The paragon of efficiency. He scored 20 points on 9 of 11 shooting. He came off of screens and made catch and shoot threes. He got down hill and created shots for his teammates. He had back-to-back monster dunks in transition. He never looked out of control or in a hurry. Elite quickness and decision making.

Subscribe now

Favour Ibe | 7’0” 2026 Mt. Zion Prep (MD)

He had a run where he scored four out of five possesions. He is very coordinated and has light feet for his size. He made some plays back to the basket, but also was able to create easy catches and finishes around the rim. He showed a high motor rebounding and earning possessions.

Joseph Hartman | 6’5” 2026 Rock School (Gainesville FL)

Grinder of a point guard who dominated this game with his mind. He was aggressive at getting to the middle and creating for his team. His team hit 14 threes, while Hartman didn’t have 14 assists, he was frequently responsible for creating space or starting an around the horn that found an open shooter.

Oneal Delancy | 6’4” 2027 Gibbs (St. Petersburg FL)

Big time shooter and plays well within the framework of the offense. He had the ball in his hands for much of the game, creating shots and getting his team organized. He never forced a shot or chucked up something out of rhythm. He was great at starting the play and being ready when the ball swung back to him. He finished with 15 points and 4 threes.

Tarris Bouie | 6’7” 2026 Spire Academy (Geneva OH)

Exceptional quickness and playmaking ability. The game has slowed down for him and he’s able to fit passes in tight spaces and get his teammates easy looks at the rim. His team was up three in the closing moments and he scored on consecutive possessions to close it out.

Josiah Stroughter | 6’2” 2026 Democracy Prep (Las Vegas NV)

A quiet playmaker who always has his eyes on the hoop. Strougher covers a great deal of real estate defensively and forced many off balance shots and came away with at least two steals. Strougher often started the fast break off of clean defensive rebounds. He was the primary playmaker as his team came back from a 20 point deficit to have a chance at the end.

EuroLeague Next Generation

Day 1 Standouts

Ben Dennett

Hugo Yimga-Moukouri | U18 Pole France INSEP Paris

He was the end of shot clock guy. If the play broke down or the ball had been reversed three times already, he would make a play. He gets enough lift off of his step back that he gets a clear release. He’s more comfortable coming off a screen, but he made a handful pulling up with his defender on his shoulder.

Dominykas Grunkis | U18 Zalgiris Kaunas

Made a lot of big shots. As the game got tighter he got more clutch. He hit two NBA threes, in the last five minutes of regulation. He was great all night long at running the offense and getting the ball to his teammates in rhythm. He used his hand offs and ball screens to force mismatches and then make easy shots for himself. Big time performance.

Gildas Gimenez | U18 Real Madrid

Madrid was down early, but made a huge run in the 2nd quarter and Gimenez was the ignition. He was electric in the open court and finished well at the rim. He made plays on defense and carried an attacking mindset to elevate the overall level of his team’s play.

Kohl Rosario | U18 Overtime Elite

Rosario has had a great summer and continued to play at a high level today. He knocked down threes and finished in transition. His body is ready for the next level and he jumps out of the gym. His decision making really stands out as almost never turns the ball over off the dribble and doesn’t need to force anything to get himself shots.

Ma Samba Gueye | U18 FC Barcelona

Plays the game at full throttle and relentlessly forces the defense to make decisions and get out of their shape. He’s very quick with the ball and with his length he’s able to score over defenders if they’re able to stay with him. He knocked down some perimeter jumpers and has a great catch and quick release. He projects well as a 2 at the next level because of his quickness and shooting.

Anil Alyanak | U18 Dubai Basketball

On a day when the scoreboard was not a friend, Alyanak displayed a high level skill set and ability to score from anywhere on the court. He was a knock down shooter and able to catch and shoot in moments when the game opened up. In the slower parts of the game, he was able to catch back-to-the-basket and use a variety of footwork moves to get himself a shot.

Luigi Suigo | U18 Emporio Armani Milan

Just changes everything with his length. Team was losing and then he powered up and his team won by 20. He covers up defensive mistakes. He can take a bump or two but still redirect the shot. He has good anticipation and doesn’t get out of position, but lets the play come to him and erases the shot.

Ognjen Srzentic | U18 Mega Super Belgrade

Srzentic was the head of the snake. He set the tone early by dripping some threes, but much of the game he was the primary ball handlers and play maker. His length is enough that he can score over a lot of guards in the key and he’s quick so it’s hard to keep him out. He also has a solid pull up game, so it’s difficult to hold him to patterns.

Utah Club Invitational Day 1 Standouts

Cooper Crocket | Utah Gold Select

Ben Dennett

Cooper Crocket | Utah Gold Select

Big man showed high level agility, constantly snuffing out drives on the outside. He was a monster rebounder and had at least 10 points from put backs. He showed a solid ability to distribute from the center of the zone and brought good energy and body language.

Don Tinsley | Arizona Wild Cards

Elite level guard able to play through contact and score at all levels. He hit six threes, most through contact. He mixed in some mid range fadeways and showed a big time burst to be able to get through the hoop. His body is ready for the next level and he had multiple steals where he ripped it out of opponents hands.

Jax Clark | Utah Gold EYCL

Guard speed in a big body. He’s moving faster, so he gets a lot of rebounds in space before others can. He has the ability to handle a pick and roll pass that comes too early and still stay on balance and generate enough umph to finish. Had multiple possessions where he grabbed the defensive rebound and ran down and grabbed the offensive rebound.

Tye Cornwall | Meta Hoops Gold

Great 3 and D guy. He has long arms and good anticipation which makes it easy for him to disrupt the offense. He has a great high release and shoots just as well coming off screens as pulling up off the dribble.

Omar Mowafak | Utah Valley Prime

At 6’8” and next level strength, he’s a really great combination.. He moves well and is able to change direction, but at the point of contact, he’s going to be the bull. He dunks easily and is not afraid to break out into transition after a rebound. His arms are even longer than you would expect and he does things like reach over his shorter teammate to block a shot.

Jackson Ostler | Salt Lake Prime

Ostler is a big guard that can get down hill and put pressure on the rim. He’s got a great first step and a good ability to create angles before he puts the ball down. He’s physical enough to bump off most high school guards and he can finish over bigs at the rim.

Crew Fotheringham | Utah Prospects

He’s one of the best shooters in the west. He’s tall enough that most defenders can’t bother his shot and he doesn’t need a lot of space to pull. He can shoot in transition or driving off a screen because he can elevate so quickly. He’s a threat to pull from anywhere on the court and is great at creating when the play has broken down.

'25 Cedric Taylor

Huntington Prep

Ben Dennett

'27 Devin Freeman

6'2" Lake Stevens High School/Perseverance

Ben Dennett

'26 Josh Peterson

6'1" Reed High School, Reno Ballers

Ben Dennett

'26 Justice Phillips

6'6", Bronson HIgh, Gainesville Stampede (RSE)

Ben Dennett

Top 5 From Puma Session 3 in Vegas

Justice Phillips | Gainesville Stampede 17U

Ben Dennett

Justice Phillips | Gainesville Stampede 17U

Never rattled, best leader I saw over the weekend. He can score and dominate the boards, he’s not afraid to be physical. He’s at his best when he’s pumping up his teammates and making shots for them. His team was down 13 late and he willed them back, wouldn’t let his teammates give up, hit two clutch free throws.

Alec Day | Rose City Ballers 17U

He’s the tallest kid on his team, so he has to do a lot of post player things like catching at the high post and helping on the drive but he also has the speed and shooting to be a guard at the next level. He’s relentless at getting to the basket and putting pressure on the defense. He’s able to get up and defend and gets a lot of deflections each game.

Jomar Bernard | Tre Mann Elite 16U

Most complete player at the event. Very athletic and has no trouble defending on the perimeter. Long arms, dunks easily. Great in catch and shoot situations. Catches in position so he elevates quickly and has an excellent release. Really efficient in the attack, gets where he wants in one dribble.

Damarian Landry | HD LabRats

Landry was the big brother that palms your forehead as you try to punch him. He was taking the ball out of people’s hands. He was knocking down threes off the crossover. Great positional height and offensive skill set. Doesn’t take defense or rebounding off. He had more than one tip slam and blocked a number of shots.

Chinemerem Anyikwa | Sunset Select

It’s easy to be a high energy defender when the press is working. It’s harder to get the press to work late in the game when it’s suddenly close. Anyikwa had an exceptional motor and took ownership to make the press work. He communicated skillfully and covered the whole court. He had a high number of deflections and generally was able to force the offense into uncomfortable positions.

Utah 4A State Tournament Preview

Green Canyon is the favorite, Timpanogos and Murray lurk in the background

Ben Dennett

The Utah 4A State Tournament kicked off this week head toward it’s conclusion February 22nd in Cedar City on the campus of Southern Utah University.
